Kid Favorite Gluten Free Products

It has taken years to figure out what allergy friendly products my kids will even try. I am glad that it has become more popular to eat gluten and dairy free. More brands are producing more products for us to try.

My 10 year old loves to bake lately. Anything from cookies to cakes to brownies. Although mixes are so much easier, she has tried to bake from scratch. The mixes that she likes the best are:

Pamela's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Enjoy Life Brownie Mix

Bella Pizza Crust Mix

These mixes she can do by herself with no adult help. For the brownies, she likes to try different frosting recipes. In those recipes, instead of a dairy free milk, we tried coconut milk vanilla creamer. This gave the frosting a creamy texture that was full of vanilla flavor.

So Delicious Vanilla Coconut Creamer

The recipe for the frosting that she likes is:

1 cup earth balance butter

3-4 cups powdered sugar

dash of salt

about 3 Tbsp So Delicious vanilla Creamer

1 tsp vanilla

Mix all ingredients together and beat for 3-5 minutes
