HAPPY HALLOWEEN

This year I am participating in the Teal Pumpkin Project.  I asked all 3 of my kids and none of them have heard of the project.  I explained to them that it means whoever has a teal pumpkin in front of their house on Halloween, means that they either have allergy friendly candy or non-candy items. They wanted to go paint a pumpkin teal right then.

This is the only year that I have decided to be super picky about what Halloween candy the kids can eat.  With all of them having to avoid gluten, dairy, soy and egg for the most part, It is getting a little nerve racking.  Aiden (my oldest) had his last scope in August and the result was even worse for the number of eosinophils then it was before, 6 months ago.  He keeps cheating on his diet. With the EOE, dairy and gluten affect him the most even though he is allergic to everything else. The disease is not under control in any of them.  The kids really like Dr. Schar Chocolate Hazelnut Gluten-Free Bars.

They suggested we hand these out this year along with non-food toys.
