
5 Kid Approved Allergy Friendly Smoothies
Do you have those mornings where you have 10 minutes to make sure the kids are ready, feed them and get them out the door for school? That is me almost every day. My kids love smoothies. This is one food I can always turn to when I run out of other allergy friendly food. My kids have come up with most of these recipes themselves. So today I bring you Allergy Friendly Smoothies by a 13, 10 and 7 year old.
1.Banana Smoothie

Ingredients |
1-2 bananas 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/4 cup apple juice concentrate ice cubes Toss ingredients into blender and Puree. FREE FROM Egg, Fish, Gluten, Milk, Peanut, Sesame, Shellfish, Soy, Tree Nut, Wheat CHOCOLATE BANANA SMOOTHIE Ingredients 1 frozen banana 1 cup coconut or rice milk 2 ice cubes 1 Tbsp sugar 2 Tbsp cocoa powder Toss in blender and puree, if it is too thick add more rice milk or water. 2. Orange N' Cream Smoothie

1/2 cup So Delicious® Vanilla Coconut Milk Beverage (Found Here) 2 med oranges, peeled and seeded 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice 2 Tbsp So Delicious® Dairy Free Coconut Milk Creamer (FOUND HERE) 1 cup ice 1 packet stevia or sweetener of choice FREE FROM: Egg, Gluten, Milk, Peanut, Sesame, Shellfish, Soy, Tree Nut, Wheat, Fish COCONUT: Although coconut is considered a tree nut, it is not a common allergen. 3. Mixed Berry SUPER Smoothie

To help add nutrition to the smoothies, I add chia seed. It is high is fiber, which sometimes kids with food allergies can lack because they cannot have whole wheat or gluten. This brand is my favorite. I love buying things in bulk. It is very helpful.
Ingredients:
3/4 C Mixed frozen or fresh berries 1 C vanilla Coconut milk found here 1 6oz container of So Delicious Vanilla or berry yogurt Ice 1 tsp vanilla (optional) 1 tsp chia seeds (FOUND HERE) I Love this bulk brand Blend all ingredients together in blender. 4. Mango Vanilla Power Smoothie

Ingredients: |
3/4 C frozen mango 1/2 to 1 C Vanilla Coconut Milk (found here) 2 TBSP Vanilla Vegan Pudding (Found Here) 1 tsp vanilla 1 TBSP chia seeds (Found Here) Blend all ingredients together in blender. 5. Peaches N' Cream Smoothie

Ingredients: |
3/4 C frozen or fresh peaches 1/2 banana 1 cup Vanilla Coconut milk (found here) 2 Tsp Vanilla So Delicious creamer (Found Here) Blend all ingredients together in blender.
